Lunch: leftover fideo and coffee.

Dinner at Homeslice: Caesar salad.

Tomato pizza. (I like how Justin’s hand seems to just be hanging magically in the air.)

Today was so very busy. I didn’t have time for breakfast. I didn’t have time for snacks. I meant to get a cup of tea during the day, but by the afternoon I found my teacup sitting on my desk with a teabag in it… I never made it to the office kitchen to get hot water. I packed a chocolate chunk cookie to snack on in the afternoon, but never had the chance to eat it. I didn’t even really realize how busy the day was until it was over.

Justin picked me up from work this evening, and it was quickly decided that we needed pizza, pronto. So Homeslice it was. I love their salad, I love their subs, I love their pizza. But today it was so loud and crowded in there that I couldn’t hear Justin talk, and I couldn’t really relax. It was just one of those days, I guess. At least now I’m at home, and all is quiet, and I’m going to curl up in bed with a book and a cat or two (and maybe that chocolate chunk cookie), and fall asleep early.

Good night, internets.

Ahhh, I actually love busy days… they give me no time to slow down and be sad. I drink coffee, eat sugar cubes raw and whizz through the day on a sugar high instead. Yum.

I hope tomorrow’s a more relaxing day for you though.

  3. I absolutely adore Caesar salad and this one looks awesome. Well I though it did until I saw the pizza. I guess you ordered my favorite one. I love to keep my pizza’s toppings really simple so tomato pizza is my favorite. That was great food indeed. I also like Justin’s hand.
