Hola, everybody! I’ve been having a lovely time at the film festival. I’ll post a recap of the films I’ve seen at the end of the week.
One of my favorites films so far has been Echotone, a documentary about the Austin music culture. It introduced me to some awesome bands, and now I have their songs in my head. Hope you enjoy!

I’ll be at the Austin Film Festival. Starting tonight, ending October 28. I’m going to try to keep Twitter updated with what’s going on, and maybe do recaps of what films we see. Justin and I always split up for the festival – occasionally we’ll watch the same film, but most of the time we choose different ones.
So! If posting gets spotty here for the next week, you’ll know why. I’m at the movies! 🙂
I wish I had asked her name. I just fell in love with her tattoos, and asked if I could take her photo. She said yes.

It also has deeee-licious burgers. And homemade onion rings, and strawberry milkshakes with real strawberries in them. And fries and wings.

So this morning, at some horrible hour, we got up and got everything ready to take Justin to the surgery center. We got there and checked in, and filled out paperwork, and waited for the nurse to come get us. She finally came, and said, “The doctor called in sick, so we have to reschedule your surgery for another date.” She was NOT my favorite person at that time. 🙁
So, no knee surgery for Justin today. It’s back to work for both of us, and another few weeks of waiting for a new appointment.
