We still love 24 Diner.
Breakfast hash with eggs on top.
Chopped salad (minus the Gorgonzola).
Things & Stuff
This photo is a week or two old… Beer and pretzels at Flying Saucer. Possibly the BEST pretzels ever.
Next time you’re craving something chocolatey, whip up this dangerously easy pudding. Below is a super-precise recipe. (Kidding.) Also, kitty cats like to sit next to you when you eat pudding, or anything milk-based. That’s just how it goes.
Microwave Chocolate Pudding for One
In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, cornstarch and salt until the cornstarch is fully dissolved. Stir in the chocolate chips. Microwave uncovered for about a minute (depending on your microwave’s wattage… ours is a teeny 770 watt), and check to see if the chocolate is melted. If not, microwave a little more until it is, then stir it all up. (Make sure it’s all stirred up and melted, or you’ll have lumps of unmelted chocolate in your pudding like I did, and then Justin will say, “Ew, it’s lumpy.”) Then microwave it maybe 30 seconds more, until it thickens a bit, and stir it up. You can eat it warm or cold.
Makes 1 serving.

Going to Renegade Craft Fair! I’ve been dreaming about going to the ones in Chicago or New York or San Francisco for YEARS, and now there’s one in Austin! I’ve been planning to go to this for months, since I first heard it was coming. So if you need me this weekend, you can find me at Renegade. 🙂
We went to Cuatro’s for lunch on Sunday, and watched some futbol. There was a large Chelsea contingent there, decked out in blue jerseys and scarves.
We started with some chips, salsa and guacamole.
Justin had the fried chicken salad. It’s one of his favorites (though he really eats all the fried chicken pieces off and leaves most of the lettuce behind). 🙂
I had a burger and tots. I didn’t like the bun… it was so thick! I ended up eating the burger open-faced, and then I could only manage half of it. And half the tots.
“Napoleon, gimme some of your tots!” 🙂
