Breakfast: tall soy mocha. Starbucks has green cup holders now. It matched my office supplies.
Leftover pizza from Little Deli. I’m 92 pages into Neverwhere, and I still don’t love it. I’m not sure I’ll keep reading it. However, I did love this sentence: There was no moon, but the night sky was a riot of crisp and glittering autumn stars. Lovely.
Justin in the corner!
Dinner: appetizer plate at Chuy’s. We decided to eat here tonight, since it will be impossible to get a table here once SXSW starts on Friday.
Dessert: mini Reese’s peanut butter cups.
Thank you all so much for your very sweet comments about poco-cocoa’s 6th anniversary! I am so happy that I’ve been able to have this little space for my thoughts and photos for so long, and I’m so glad that you all are here to share it with me. 🙂
Tonight I’ve been watching trailers for the films that will be screened at the SXSW festival. There are so many! I’ve only made it through the first two days of the schedule, and I’m already overwhelmed. At any rate, starting Friday, Justin and I will be at the movies during every possible hour of the non-work day, through March 20. I’ll keep you updated on what we see.
In other news, I watched the first two episodes of True Blood. I can’t decide what I think about it – it’s fun to see the book come to life on screen, and I actually really like Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse, but I’m just not sure yet. I agree with Ai, I do like the way those southern men and vampires say “Sookeh.” For those of you who have seen more episodes, does Tara’s horrible southern accent get any better? Please say yes.
