Hooray, I made it through the book signing event! I can’t believe that after months of agonizing over it, it was all over in less than an hour. Here are a ton of photos that Justin took. Also, if you’re really bored, you can watch video of the event that my super-awesome friend Peter took, here (speech) and here (Q&A). Please note that I was nervous, and therefore a bit goofy. Actually, I’m pretty much always that goofy.
Thank you to everyone who attended the event! I got to see old friends and new friends, and meet so many great people (Hi Paige! Hi Aimee! Hi Katrina!), and by the end of the night my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. The staff at BookPeople were so awesome as well – Liz made sure everything went smoothly, and she was so sweet and calming and patient.
So! Tada! I signed books. 🙂
They misspelled my name. I’m used to it.
I look just like my mom.
Fishing out my super duper handy dandy Sharpies…

I am so happy for you, and I love your haircut!
Thank you so much! I’ve been wearing it much sleeker, but my stylist pumped it up for signing night. 🙂
Signing your own books looks like quite a cool experience.
It was, it was! And fairly surreal, too. 🙂
I am so happy for you! And THANK YOU soo much for this book! The best thing is that now I have a method for dealing with my friends who are all, ‘We should go out to eat..where should we go?’ From now on, I’ll just go to a section of town and make them pick a number…and off we’ll go to that restaurant!
Yay, thank you so much for buying it, and for always supporting me! Your smile and happy attitude are sometimes what gets me through the day. 🙂
