So I made this Estonian kringel, and it was pretty fantastic. The dough is pretty stiff, and I had to add a bit more milk to make it come together, but once it rose and baked, it was kind of pastry-like and delicious. Actually, it reminded me of a Mexican pan dulce – kind of bread-like, kind of crumbly, but full of cinnamon and sugar. I need to practice my shaping skills, so this may have to be a once-a-week thing. I don’t think J would mind at all. 😉
