Coming home

I’ve been to Boston and back. I’ve grown and I’ve changed and I’ve cooked and I’ve refused to cook. I’ve crafted and I’ve purchased gifts from Target. I’ve been happy and I’ve been miserable, and I’ve learned from it all.

And now I feel that I’ve come home, to my Austin, to my family, to my friends, and to my little corner of the universe, poco-cocoa. It’s good to be home.

So, internets, how have you been? I hope that life has treated you well, and that you’re happy and healthy.

I’ve learned so much about myself and about the world in such a short time…I’ve learned that my friends and family are such an important part of my life, and I am determined not to take them for granted. I’ve learned that Boston is a big city, full of life and smells and cobblestones and wonders, but it’s not home. I’ve learned that my cat despises road trips. And I’ve learned that I love to write, and connect with people, whether it be through hand-written letters or this little blog.

So I’m looking forward to writing to you, dear internets, and sharing my new experiences with you.

Happy Monday!
