Letters #1

Dear God,

Thank you for the lovely weather today. I rode my scooter, and every moment that I was outside, I appreciated the breeze, the sun, the clouds, the clean air, the trees, and life itself. I’m looking forward to seeing what you bring tomorrow.

Dear Husband,

Two nights ago you said your heart fluttered when you saw me as you walked in the door. I’m so happy to be your wife.

Thanks! You saved my morning.

Dear Scooter,

I sometimes forget about you, parked in the garage, because it’s so easy to just hop in the car and have an air-conditioned ride to work. After our fling today, I doubt I’ll forget you anytime soon.

Dear Weekends,

I look forward to seeing you every week, and our time together is always too short. Sometimes we just nap together, sometimes we run errands, and sometimes we have picnics. How about this time we watch basketball, start cleaning out the garage, go thrifting, and see friends at Supper Club? Let me know, k thx.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

  3. Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate seeing what you eat everyday! I am trying to lose weight and I have no idea how normal people eat. It is nice to see how you add a little treat into your diet. Sometimes I think your portion sizes are so tiny. I always wonder, “Does she eat seconds?” 🙂

    1. I’m glad you like the Daily Eats posts! And yes, sometimes I do have seconds, especially if it’s one of my favorite dishes (I loooove pasta). 🙂
