Breakfast: frosted shredded wheat with soy milk. When I was little, my dad used to call these “pillows.” As in, “you want a bowl of pillows?”

Lunch, part 1: steamed cauliflower. I somehow managed to have a three-course meal.

Lunch, part 2: I have a strange love for noodle soups. I know they’re instant and processed and weird, but I like them.

Lunch, part 3: My coworker baked little carrot cakes studded with chocolate chips and nuts, topped with cream cheese frosting flecked with orange zest. Delicous. I left half for Justin.

Snack: a handful of pretzel sticks.

Dinner: leftover black beans and a few chips with guacamole.

    I love it when pillows soak up ridiculous amounts of milk and then you bite into it and there’s crunch and then it splinters and then you get a juicy (did I just describe milk as “juicy”?) spurt of milk.

    But not too soggy. 😀
