I just realized I haven’t shared photos of our lovely dinner at FINO on my birthday!
Chad and Lindsay joined us for dinner (somehow I didn’t get a good photo of Linds, probably because she was sitting next to me). The restaurant knew it was my birthday, and they were soooooo sweet! We were treated to a bottle of bubbly sent over by a friend, as well as a few extra dishes and desserts.
Gulf prawns & cilantro-tomato charmoula
Chorizo-stuffed Medjool dates; spicy fennel sausage flatbread with manchego cheese, apple and pine nut; blistered padron peppers with sea salt; pork belly
Fried asparagus and artichoke hearts
Chicken harira soup with couscous, harissa broth & cinnamon; tortilla Espanola & black truffle aioli
Fried goat cheese with red onion jam & honey
Zucchini cake with cinnamon ice cream, candied walnuts & PX sherry caramel
Coconut flan & poached apricot
