I had pork belly steam buns and pommes frites. It cost all of $6.50, thanks to insanely low happy hour prices. Holy moly, that’s cheap! I paid more for my dessert than I did for my meal!
Dessert, by the way, was chocolate intemperance with coffee and a bit of Baileys.
Mara, the bartender, said she went a little overboard on the whipped cream. I say, there’s no such thing as too much whipped cream. 🙂
I meant to go to a movie afterward, but I had so much fun lingering over my dinner that I missed it. Ah well, it was still a lovely date.
