Hola internets! I’m still trying to figure out how to embed music in my blog. There’s a plugin for WordPress that I should be able to use, but there’s something funky about my blog template that’s causing it not to work. Maybe by next week I’ll have figured it out! Until then, I’ll keep embedding videos.

Happy Labor Day, everyone!
So usually I try to create a full 8Tracks playlist on the first day of each month, for that month. But now I plan to make the lists retroactively… each Monday, I’ll share a song or two that I’m feelin’ at the moment. Then at the end of the month, I’ll toss them all into an 8Tracks list, and it will represent what the month felt like. Does that make sense? I’m just going to fudge it and say that today’s music goes in the September pile, since I’ve missed most of August.
Of course, you all know me, so if I change my mind and completely ditch this idea next week, you won’t be surprised, right?

Hello, hello!
Today I should be in Canton, Texas, browsing through vintage goodies, hanging out with my family. Instead, I’m at home, unable to bear a long car ride because of my lovely sciatica. This is one of the only times I really feel like I’m getting old… like my body’s wearing out on me. That darned sciatic nerve… every few months or so, it decides to get angry and give me some pain. It usually doesn’t last more than a few days, it’s just painful and annoying. Time to do some stretching.
