Letters #18

Dear Husband,

Thank you for carrying heavy things and putting up light fixtures and setting up internet and hammering things and making sure we had music right away and letting me have the window space and letting me have the big closet and making me margaritas and reminding me to take medicine and mourning with me when Fresh Plus didn’t have Peter Pan and managing to still be super handsome and sweet through it all.

Dear Grapefruit, Bowling, Oranges, and Popcorn,

It’s possible I like you after all. Popcorn, I’m still not sure about you. But today I tried some Crunch & Munch and it was delicious.

Dear Sinuses,

Stop it. Seriously. Let’s not have a cold anymore.

Dear Restoration Hardware Table,

Can you magically show up in my dining room for free? K thx.

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week!

  1. GAHHHH, that table is AMAZING!

Also, I feel the same way about popcorn! I think I don’t really like it, but sometimes I try it and it surprises me.

    1. Oh, that table. I want it so much!

  2. Dear Crystal,
Your diplomacy towards your sinuses inspires me to be a better, less bitter person. I tell mine to f$ck off on a regular basis. So far it hasn’t gotten me anywhere, and I am beginning to wonder if a less antagonistic approach might yield better results.

    1. I would agree that in general, a less antagonistic approach to things fares better.
