Thankful Thursday

He always looks kind of hoity-toity like this.

Hello, internets! I’m making it a little more girly around here with the pink. I like pink. 🙂

Today I am thankful for:

  • Pink (the color, not the artist, though she’s cool too)
  • Kitties
  • The fact that the internet makes the world so much smaller, so that I can have friends in Shanghai and Japan and Italy and Mexico, and so that old friends can find me again
  • My job
  • Having a car so that I can trek all over Austin trying new foods
  • Autumn and a harvest moon
  • Tall, soy, no-whip mochas
  • Having enough
  • Justin’s hugs
  • Bookstores
  • Dark chocolate Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • The anticipation I have for cooking again very soon
  • Saveur magazine
  • Crossword puzzles
  • Memories

Happy Thursday, everyone!

  1. The internet DOES make the world so much smaller – I can’t believe that I know people from halfway across the world! And I love “having enough”. Lovely.

  2. I have to agree with you on the Internet one – I can’t do without it any more, I’m afraid! I’m also thankful for Autumn (my top 1 season), for London (a city that taught me way too many things), for green tea, for French Macarons, for Fridays and weekends to spend with the family.
    Happy Friday, everyone!
    xx

    1. Oooh, French macarons! They’re so lovely. Happy Friday to you, too!

  3. Your kitty looks part lion or something!

You need to swap out some of your crossword puzzles for those puzzles we talked about where it lists like five names and five colors of clothes and five awards and five races and you match them up and whatnot…Logic puzzles? I don’t know what they’re called… but those are the best!

    1. That’s right, logic puzzles! You know, I tried sudoku yesterday and failed miserably. Me + numbers = sadness.

  4. Also…I *LOVE* your new blog look!

    1. Thank you so much! 🙂

  5. thankful thursdays are such a nice addition to your space. there is something sweet + endearing about pink; even for a non girly-girl like myself. : )

    1. Thanks, Allyn! They do keep me focused on the good things in life.
