Justine’s Brasserie

I’m too tired for words today. Here are some photos from a recent (lovely) dinner at Justine’s.

Kir royale and red wine…

Salad special – egg, tomato, crouton, anchovy…

French onion soup, smothered in melted gruyere…

Steak frites with herbed butter…

Juicy pork chop with buttery mashed potatoes…

Perfect creme brulee and cappuccino…

  1. Gosh, I know that feeling. I’m often too tired to blog 😛 It ends up in a pretty huge-ass recipe backlog. But… I’ve never had French Onion soup before. It looks SO good with all that CHEEEEEEEEESE! 😀

    1. Oh, you have to try it… rich, mellow onion broth, kind of sweet and dark, topped with a slice of toasted baguette and tons of melted gruyere. Mmmmmm. 🙂
