Eats for yesterday, Eats for today

Yesterday I was still feeling pretty sick…

9:30 a.m. – Cream-of-Wheat with butter and sugar

12:30 p.m. – Chips and queso, cheeseburger, fries and a frozen margarita at Cuatro’s (another free lunch!). The hamburger buns were so fluffy and seriously home-made-looking, and the fries! Super tasty. The real draw here is the huge patio and plethora of ginormous televisions.

8:00 p.m. – The other half of yesterday’s chicken salad sandwich.

10:00 p.m. – A Reese’s peanut butter cup. Long live Halloween.

Today I’m feeling a bit better…

7:40 a.m. – Multigrain waffles with syrup

12:30 p.m. – Sandwich with whole wheat bread, turkey slices and mayo, pineapple chunks, then a handful of semisweet chocolate chips.

4:00 p.m. – Mini 3 Musketeers from a co-worker’s desk.

6:00 p.m. – Clear-out-the-pantry dinner: Chicken sauteed with onion, roasted bell pepper, tomato and chickpeas, served with whole wheat couscous.

9:00 p.m. – Pumpkin chocolate chip bars. No quantity here, because I keep breaking off pieces throughout the night.

I think this week I’ll try something else…maybe photos or links? We’ll see…

  1. So, by 12:30 you seem to have been feeling a-okay?

  2. Hey, Joe! I’d say by about 12:45, when I had a good amount of that margarita in me, I felt mighty fine. 🙂
